This pattern is worked using two strands (one strand of Lily Sugar’n Cream, and one strand of Red Heart Scrubby) held together throughout. To make the corner loop, cast off using the Crochet Cast Off, then–instead of fastening off at the last stitch–chain 10 and slip stitch to the first stitch of the last row of knit.
- Hold yarn in left hand (as if crocheting) and keep it at the back of the work. Slip the first st purl-wise onto the crochet hook.
- Insert hook into next st and slide it off the needle. Catch yarn at back and pull it through both loops on crochet hook. Rep to end of row, pulling the last loop through itself.
