Notes:

  • Frdc:
    • yo, insert hook from the front around post of the dc one row below from right to left, then complete dc in usual way.
  • Brdc:
    • yo, insert hook from the back around post of the dc one row below from right to left, then complete dc in usual way.

Pattern:

Cast on an even number of sts, plus 2 for the foundation chain.

Row 1: 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in every ch across to end, turn.

Row 2: Ch2, skip first dc, *1frdc around next dc, 1brdc around next dc; rep from * across, 1frdc around ch3, turn.

Row 3: Rep Row 2 to end of row, 1frdc around ch2, turn.

Repeat Row 3 to form pattern.
