Herringbone lace is a very simple stitch pattern to learn. It’s made up of just a one (!) row repeat and the resulting fabric is one that looks ribbed but still has the delicate, gorgeous detail of lace. Pattern:

Cast on a multiple of 3 sts

Row 1: (RS) *k1, yo, k2tog; rep from * across.

Row 2: Rep Row 1.

Repeat Rows 1-2 to form pattern.


And that’s Herringbone Lace! Easy to form, easy to remember, but still a gorgeous result.
